Dec 7, 2006 · Over time, I lost interest in Black Sabbath (Vol 4 was the peak of my interest). Vol 4 was replace by this album then that album, until I really forgot about Black Sabbath as even producing music. Sometimes I would be reminded of them, like when the movie Iron Man used the beginning of Iron Man in the trailer, or The Osbornes.
First. Last. "Reunion", although perhaps not very spectacular - is a more than worthy attempt at capturing a Black Sabbath concert on cd in the original line-up (and imo certainly tons better than the "Live At Last" release). Of course you can hardly say that musically this is "the best" Sabbath line-up but it's a nice, nostalgic look back on
Review Summary: As long as the earth endures, there will never be an end for Black Sabbath. One of my first memories from Black Sabbath is reading a review for their debut. Without even having heard a note from the album – or even Sabbath for that matter, except for “Paranoid” – I was drawn by the dark, menacing cover art.

Sep 4, 2022 · Review Summary: Very enjoyable but ultimately pedestrian. In the grand scheme of Black Sabbath, 1994’s Cross Purposes feels almost like an afterthought. The vacuum caused by Dio’s sour departure was filled by the eternally beleaguered Tony Martin, but this album doesn’t have the same vibe as Headless Cross or Tyr.
